Day of Manager

To host and manage an events at A Simple Affair. These events range from birthday parties, weddings, celebration of life, ect. Some events are all-inclusive events that are more involved, and others are "do it yourself" events where the client is in charge of their event entirely and you are at the center for questions and to manage the party. You will be required to take care of situations of breaking rules within the event center. You will also answer questions of the clients throughout the night and make sure that events are running smoothly.

Some duties include:

  • Set up/clean up

  • Watching the schedule-schedules will be assigned by the main lead with your requests for shifts

  • Working with other day-of-managers

  • Working closely with the client contact of the evening

  • Making sure curfews of the event are kept

  • Making sure that rules of the event center are kept

  • Helping to run the sound system if needed

  • Answering and helping out the clients

  • Helping during turn-over of events and helping to move the event along

Requirements:

  • Work 4 events/month

  • On-call shifts 2 times/month

  • Training days

  • Within the first 90 days apply/receive a TAM card, a health card, and a Sherriff's card

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
