When Taylor and Phil moved to Atlanta after college, they didn’t just find a new city—they found each other. Introduced by a mutual friend (who later had the honor of officiating their wedding!), their journey began with live karaoke and a lot of laughter in 2018.
Fast forward through a sentimental proposal at their alma mater, the University of South Carolina, and a cross-country planning process, the couple brought their "Romantic, Modern, and Party" vision to life right here in Las Vegas.
A Seamless Destination Wedding Experience
Planning a wedding from out of state can be daunting, but Taylor and Phil knew A Simple Affair was the one the moment they saw the versatility of our space. Beyond the aesthetic, it was the inclusive nature of our venue that made the long-distance coordination stress-free.
The Vibe: Romantic, Modern, and an absolute Party.
The Palette: Sophisticated Black. This choice created a clean, "Black Tie Optional" look that allowed the venue’s greenery and florals to truly stand out.
The Why: "The team was incredible from day one... we never once felt like we weren’t prepared, even planning from out of state!"
Meaningful Traditions & Personal Touches
The day was filled with beautiful moments of reflection. To honor the memory of the bride’s father, a memorial chair was designated in the front row. The couple also displayed their Ketubah at the altar, sharing a deeply personal tradition with all of their guests.
When it came time to celebrate, the atmosphere shifted into high gear. Taylor notes that the first dance was an emotional highlight—made even more magical by the addition of a live saxophone player who helped open the dance floor with an unforgettable energy!
The Party: Italian Cuisine and DJ Tony Sinatra
Taylor and Phil had a clear mission: maximize party time. They opted for a buffet-style meal to keep the evening moving, featuring a crowd-favorite Italian menu from Maggiano’s, offered through the venue.
The hit of the night? The entertainment! DJ Tony Sinatra kept the energy electric, perfectly blending the couple's love for music with a sophisticated "party" atmosphere. From the delicious Italian spread to the venue-provided desserts, the couple ensured their guests were well-fed and ready to hit the dance floor. A unique touch was the ability to bring in their own mixers, allowing for ultimate flexibility at the bar and a truly custom cocktail experience.
